New Supernatural Series "The Littlest Ghosthunter" films in PEI this Fall
Seven-episode series for Bell Fibe TV1 brings a coming-of-age ghost story to life against the backdrop of PEI.
CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – November 2026 — Ghosts, mystery, and a little childhood mischief are coming to Prince Edward Island this November as Follow the Rabbit Productions, Inc. begins principal photography on "The Littlest Ghosthunter", a new seven-episode, short-form supernatural series produced for Bell Fibe TV1.
Co-directed by Matthew and Susan Kiskis, "The Littlest Ghosthunter" follows two young boys whose fascination with the paranormal leads them into an adventure far more dangerous than they ever imagined.
Joey, a young boy struggling with the loss of his parents, finds an unlikely friend in Toby, an enthusiastic aspiring filmmaker with a passion for all things supernatural. Together, the boys embark on a mission to capture proof of ghosts, unaware that something far more sinister may be waiting for them.
Blending supernatural suspense, childhood adventure, and heartfelt storytelling, the series explores themes of grief, friendship, belonging, and the extraordinary ways children make sense of the world around them.
Filmed entirely on Prince Edward Island, the production will feature recognizable island locations, local talent, and elements of the province's rich folklore. The independent, non-union production brings together a dedicated cast and crew, highlighting the creative talent and filmmaking opportunities emerging within the province.
"This story, at its core, has something we can all connect to - finding our place in a community," shares writer and co-director, Matthew Kiskis.
"I love how the outside this story is a spooky one, filled with mischief, and the gooey core is about healing, love, and belonging," says Susan Kiskis, Executive Producer and Co-Director.
Principal photography is scheduled throughout November 2026, with the seven-episode series anticipated for release on Bell Fibe TV1 in 2027.
