Imagine two young boys who think they’re in the movie Ghostbusters, but find themselves in The Shining. Where the threats become very real, very fast.
Eight- and nine-year-old wannabe ghost hunters Joey and Toby secretly search for proof of the paranormal, hiding their obsession from Joey's protective aunt, who fears his fixation on ghosts is tied to the unresolved grief of losing his parents.
As both boys become tunnel visioned and fixated on achieving their goal, they do not realize the danger they have put themselves in until it is too late. In the end they must work together to survive the night with a malicious paranormal presence.
Based in Prince Edward Island, The Littlest Ghosthunter series showcases PEI locations, people, and folklore. The series is inspired by the 2022 short, The Littlest Ghosthunter by Matthew Kiskis and Luke Covert (Covert Films).
